Every December 21st to 23rd is the Winter solstice,
it is one of the twenty-four solar term.
Winter solstice is the shortest day and longest night in all parts of the northern hemisphere.
It means the cold winter is truly coming in China,
don’t forget to pay attention to warmth and add clothing.
People will start to count nine to calculate the cold days,
from December 21st, every 9 days means one unit, till the ninth 9 over,
means cold days end, warming spring comes.
And in Winter solstice, many families will have dumpling and be together with family members,
it is also a good day to have a reunion.
